A "basic" question regarding the way, zmztozmig basically works. Well, what's it doing?
Is it so, that it basically calls http://mail.test.com/home/user/?fmt=tgz for every user and then imports the data on the destination server?
Ie. more or less like this?
Is that basically all it does (maybe in a bit more sophisticated way with threads and error checking and such?
if zmmailbox -z -m email@example.com getRestURL “//?fmt=tgz” > /tmp/user_test.com.tar.gz; then
# Export was good, now import
if zmmailbox -z -m firstname.lastname@example.org postRestURL “//?fmt=tgz&resolve=reset” /tmp/user_test.com.tar.gz; then
# Import was good, delete file (or move to SuccessDirectory)
# Import failed, move to FailedDirectory
mv /tmp/user_test.com.tar.gz /tmp/failed
