Default Multiple Issues popped up today

I've searched the forums and read many threads but I cannot seem to nail this issue down. Apologies if this as been covered.

    Here is what I see
    Code:
     zmcontrol start
    Host -n
Unable to determine enabled services from ldap.
Enabled services read from cache. Service list may be inaccurate.
            Starting ldap...Done.
    FAILED
ldap_url and ldap_master_url cannot be the same on an ldap replica
So I looked at my hosts file
    Code:
    127.0.0.1 localhost mail
    10.1.10.33 mail.eqmgso.com
    and ran
    Code:
    /opt/zimbra/libexec/zmsetservername -n
    which kicks out
    Code:
ERROR: service.FAILURE (system failure: ZimbraLdapContext) (cause: javax.naming.CommunicationException localhost:389)
    Host -n

On another forum I was given the advice to replace the conf directory with my backup conf directory.
After doing so, I had to go through the zmcertmgr to be able to log back in as the zimbra user
    Now I see
    Code:
    zmcontrol status
    Host mail.eqmgso.com
            imapproxy Running
            ldap Running
            logger Stopped
                    logmysql.server is not running
            mail.eqmgso.combox Stopped
            mta Running
            spell Running
            stats Stopped
This line worries me mail.eqmgso.combox Stopped
    Why does it say .combox?
    In any case, still stuck

from the forums I found instructions on fixing that error by running
    /opt/zimbra/libexec/zmloggerinit

    Here is the output

    1. You have wrong /etc/hosts entry. It should be :

    Code:
    127.0.0.1 localhost
    10.1.10.33 mail.eqmgso.com mail
    2. You have wrong syntax while running zmsetservername :

    Code:
    /opt/zimbra/libexec/zmsetservername -n
It should be a server name as parameter : ZmSetServerName - Zimbra :: Wiki

    Code:
    /opt/zimbra/libexec/zmsetservername -n <servername>
It seems that you have typing wrong command while copy-paste the above command (forgot to add <servername> as parameter

Thanks so much for your reply.
I made and saved the suggested change to /etc/hosts

I ran the zmsetservername using your suggested syntax. Here is the output.

    Code:

    zimbra@mail:~$ /opt/zimbra/libexec/zmsetservername -n mail

just to clarify ZmSetServerName - Zimbra :: Wiki states
    /opt/zimbra/libexec/zmsetservername NEW_HOSTNAME is that incorrect?

    This thread is done.

I posted a few follow ups and 14 hours later they till haven't shown up.

This was a production server and we could not go any longer without email. We restored a VM snapshot and lost some email.
I have no idea why the moderators did not post my follow ups. In any case, based on the community support received during this time, we will be moving away from Zimbra to another solution.
