I'd really appreciate some experts' advice on our problem.
We have a Zimbra server that was running 7_0_1 Open Source. It was running for over an year without such a problem.
Last Friday we've updated to 8_0_3.
Since today everything was working fine. Now we cannot send emails. In the mailq we see the following entries:
Temporary MTA failure on relaying, From MTA() during fwd-connect (All attempts (1) failed connecting to smtp:[127.0.0.1]:10030)
The interesting thing is that when we flush the mailq the mails get send, but every new mail is till deferred and stuck in the queue.
Here is an example from the mail.log file :
Apr 4 12:22:13 mail postfix/smtp: D5FFE18E5A20: to=<firstname.lastname@example.org>, relay=127.0.0.1[127.0.0.1]:10026, delay=0.15, delays=0.05/0/0.01/0.09, dsn=4.5.0, status=deferred (host 127.0.0.1[127.0.0.1] said: 451 4.5.0 id=04622-01 - Temporary MTA failure on relaying, From MTA() during fwd-connect (All attempts (1) failed connecting to smtp:[127.0.0.1]:10030): id=04622-01 (in reply to end of DATA command))
We've checked all the configuration files and everything seems to be set OK. The same configs were working for near a week and for more than a year on 7_0_1.
Any ideas are highly appreciated.
By the way we do not use milter server.
