Default Starting Proxy wants sudo password

When I zmcontrol start, it stops at starting proxy and asks for "[sudo] password for zimbra:". Giving it the password doesn't work and after 3 fails it continues through start and works fine. I'm pretty sure I know what the problem is, just not sure how to fix it.

This installation is an /opt/zimbra directory that came from a previous vm that ran into some problems. So it is essentially a migration from a previous Zimbra Server. When I did the pre-install on the new server I left proxy off because I don't need it. The old installation I believe was installed with zimbra-proxy. So, I think the inconsistency is causing the problem. Any ideas on how to get them to live together in peace?

You need to install, and configure, the same ZCS version as you had on the 'old' installation. Do that (with the addition of the proxy), when you've done that it should start correctly - after that you can remove the proxy and reset the ports to the default. Search the forums for details on how to remove the proxy and reset the ports.
