Question External MTA relay for specific domains?

We recently enabled external MTA relay for our installation to point to an external appliance. The problem is we realize we do need to be able to relay differently for specific domains.

I know how to do this with sendmail via mailertable - ie, set up individual delivery points, and a default one for everything else. I'm sure this is doable in postfix, but not sure how.

    Thanks in advance.

Ok - so what it seems I need is to add a transport map. However, would this take precedence over the relayhost entry or do I need to replace this with the transport map?

On sendmail, I would simply have a mailertable such as: [xx.xx.xx.xx] [yy.yy.yy.yy]
    . [zz.zz.zz.zz]

whereas the last 'DOT' is the default (or everything else goes here). I still want zimbra inter server to be handled normally, but external emails to be going to the special relay host.

    Hope this makes sense.
