Default Archival searches capabilities to an end user

We currently run Zimbra NE Pro 6 and have archiving running and working.

We need to find a way to provide an end user with the ability to search an archive however the only way we have found right now is through the cross mailbox searches in the admin interface which none of our users can (or should) access.

Does someone know of a way to give end users the ability to search an archive? (just 1 would be fine...)

any help or pointing very very welcome as this is now a full on emergency.

    thanks!

Are you looking to show a user their own archive or give end-users access to multiple archives?

If its just their own archive, you can (as an admin) share the Inbox of the archive folder with the user it is archiving for. The share should of course be as read-only.

Note: haven't had a need for this so I haven't tried it but see no reason that it wouldn't work.
