Default _undefined_cbpolicyd and CBPolicyD don't work.

    Hi,

I'm a zimbra newbie. I'm very interesting to implement greylisting and I try to configure cbpolicyd. I followed the instruction on wiki

    Code:
    zmprov ms myservername +zimbraServiceEnabled cbpolicyd
    and I enable greylisting
    Code:
    zmlocalconfig -e cbpolicyd_module_greylisting=1
The service start normally but greylisting don't work. In the server configuration I see that Policyd chekbox is disabled (no enabled to checked). I was found on a site this command

    Code:
zmprov ms myservername +zimbraServiceInstalled cbpolicyd +zimbraServiceEnabled cbpolicyd
The checbox is now enabled, but when I try to check it, there is a strange message regards MTA service

Enabling the MTA service will also enable the MTA related statistics sections for this server. You may need to refresh your browser for these changes to take effect.
    .

When I save and return to configuration, the Policyd checkbox is again not checked. The popup window on the attribute says

    Attribute Name _undefined_cbpolicyd

    Where I'm wrong ?

    Regards
    Pasquale

P.S.: Sorry for my poor English.

I don't know what wiki you followed, but it clearly isn't the zimbra wiki.

    This wiki (very poor)

    How-to for cbpolicyd - Zimbra :: Wiki

    and this post

    http://forums.zextras.com/zimbra-howto/22-[howto]-enabling-cbpolicyd-zimbra-7-1-1-a.html

But the most important thing is that the problem exist

Bug 78331 - cbpolicyd upgrade failure, schema incompatibility.

Thanks in advance if you can explain me how to enable greylisting in 8.0.3 . You can tell me when 8.0.4 will be released ?

    Regards
    Pasquale

Neither of the zimbra wikis says to do this zmprov ms myservername +zimbraServiceInstalled cbpolicyd +zimbraServiceEnabled cbpolicyd

I would note that the zextra wiki's are specific to a given release (i.e., 7.1.1). I would avoid using them.

I can't comment specifically on release dates, but I would say 8.0.4 is nearing release.

Ok, but I want explain better (maybe). I have run this command only after that I verified cbplicyd don't work for greylisting.

I have understand that is wrong !

But, if you don't tell me how to enable greylisting, I will find workarounds to do this. In this moment I use postgrey with success.

The bug exist or not ?

I will still waiting for 8.0.4 release, hoping that it work with cbpolicyd and greylisting.

    Thanks anyway.
    Regards

Yes, greylisting is known to be broken in 8.0.0 through 8.0.3. It is fixed in 8.0.4: https://bugzilla.zimbra.com/show_bug.cgi?id=80217
