    Your hosts file should look like this (as mentioned in the SPlit DNS article):

    Code:
    127.0.0.1 localhost.localdomain localhost
    192.168.1.90 server.arcamail.net server
    You obviously need to correct IP address in there for your server instead of the 192.196.1.90 entry.

    You need an entry in the hosts file for the local DNS server, like this:

    Code:
    search yourdomain.com
    nameserver 192.168.1.90
    Obviously you need your correct domain name in the search entry and the correct IP address for your local DNS server.

    When you type the command below, the following error message appeared.

    zmprov mcf server.arcamail.net zimbraMtaMyHostname
    ERROR: account.INVALID_ATTR_NAME (invalid attr name: invalid attr name - unable to modify attributes: server.arcamail.net: attribute type undefined)

    Now follow the hosts file

    127.0.0.1 localhost.arcamail.net localhost
    208.82.99.124 server.arcamail.net server

    # The following lines are desirable for IPv6 capable hosts
    ::1 ip6-localhost ip6-loopback
    fe00::0 ip6-localnet
    ff00::0 ip6-mcastprefix
    ff02::1 ip6-allnodes
    ff02::2 ip6-allrouters

    Now follow the resolv.conf file

    # Dynamic resolv.conf(5) file for glibc resolver(3) generated by resolvconf(8)
    # DO NOT EDIT THIS FILE BY HAND -- YOUR CHANGES WILL BE OVERWRITTEN
    search arcamail.net
    nameserver 8.8.8.8
    nameserver 8.8.4.4
    nameserver 2607:f2e0::1:3:2

    We're going round in circles here, I've given you the format of the hosts file and the resolv.con files and you have have ignored the required contents of those files.

    I was wondering if I inserisse so the thing would not work correctly.
    Changed files as you showed me and apparently the emails are being sent normally.
    Now I put back the contents of files.

    hosts

    127.0.0.1 localhost.localdomain localhost
    208.82.99.124 server.arcamail.net server

    resolv.conf

    search arcamail.net
    nameserver 127.0.0.1

    That way is correct?

    Very good to know that we are progressing.
    I'll wait another email daily report to see the changes.
    Now referring to EHLO, I typed the command by but no success.
    Could you help me to leave it in the pattern?

    zmprov mcf server.arcamail.net zimbraMtaMyHostname
    ERROR: account.INVALID_ATTR_NAME (invalid attr name: invalid attr name - unable to modify attributes: server.arcamail.net: attribute type undefined)

    Thank you!
