Post Zimbra 4.0.5 and Microsoft Active Directory

    Hi,
I have a Centos 4.4 (aka Redhat 4 release 4) with Zimbra 4.0.5 CE. I have been asked to connect zimbra with the existing Windows 2000 Domain in place, so the users and users passwords are read from the Microsoft active directory rather than zimbra/linux LDAP.

I have read the Admin manual but the description is quite small and I dont want to risk damage to the MS AD sctructure.

Is there any place that can guide us as to how to connect Zimbra to MS AD to perform user password validation as well as all the possible goodies?

    Thanks,

While we don't use AD (we use external LDAP), have you tried searching the Wiki?

    and other pages.

well, i did. But I'm not good at LDAP. I guess it should be an easy step by step around about how to link it to a MS AD.
