    Default User blacklists not working

    I'm using Zimbra Open Source Edition 8.0.1

    I Have anti-spam enabled (spamassassin and amavisd) but not antivirus (clamd is disabled);

    When a user configures it's webmail to have an email blacklisted it does not work... I still receive mails from that user...

    The workaround was to create a filter that deletes mails that have a "From" with that user email... but this sounds stupid since there is a blacklist...

    I really don't know what the problem seems to be.

    Any ideas?

    thanks for replying....

    I had seen those answers, but they seem to be system wide... I just wanted that a specific user could block a specific address... Which I believe the blacklist and whitelist configuration on the user's webmail preferences is for.. or am I wrong?

    Blocking specific user at user level feature is available. Goto Preferences->Mail->Spam Mail Options. You can set here "block messages from" and "allow messages from".

    yes I know the feature is available.. or it should be....

    Maybe I wasn't very clear in my first post, but my problem is precisely with that feature.. it should be working but it isn't... When a user blocks an e-mail address it keeps receiving those e-mails...

    Thanks for making it clear. I would suggest you to please go ahead and open a bug @ bugzilla.zimbra.com with all the necessary repro steps, exact zimbra version and if possible mailbox.log(by enabling soap log. Do 'zmprov help log' to get more details about adding trace log.)
