Default Users cannot login, but Admin can

    Hi all,

We are using Zimbra ver 7 for our Institute mail. Recently, certification expired which we successfully renewed. However, since then, user cannot login (error:A network service error has occurred.), but admin can still login.

    Any suggestions?
    Thanks.

How about the users need to import the new certificate, have they done that? If that's not it then you should look in the log files to see if there's any errors. Did you also restart the Zimbra services?
    Regards

    Bill: Thanks for your reply.

Does each user need to individually import the new certificate? If yes, pl suggest how it is to be done since they cannot login. We have already tried re-starting.
    Thanks

    Yes, of course they would.

You din't mention if this is a self-signed certificate and if it is they would see a warning when they try to connect to the server, they can either create an excetion to accept the certificate or import the certificate to their browser (is it's a purchased certificate, although they should see a similar warning).

It is a free self signed certificate. When users enter username and password, they do not see any warning but an error message that I mentioned in my original post.

An isolated out-of-context error message doesn't tell us much, you'll have to look in the log file to see what's happening.
