I currently have Zimbra open source on Ubuntu 12.0.4. I'm still pretty new to setting up mail server and linux in general. I'm looking for an easy solution to backing up mailboxes on my mail server, and being able to restore mail to clients with relative ease. I have read the wiki on backup procedures, but i am unfortunately not savy enough to go that route. Any assistance or advice would be greatly appreciated.
I'm afraid that is the only 'route' for the Open Source version of Zimbra.

As Zimbra OSE-only "route", you can only use the Wiki's backup Scripts.
If you are interested in a easiest and most power solution to backup you Zimbra Open Source you have to take a look to : ZeXtras Backup.
Is not free, Is not OpenSource...It's a Commercial Solution to Extend Your Zimbra Open Source Edition with a Real Time Hot backup (completly integrated with Zimbra and fully managable via Zimbra Administration Console) and many other nice stuff...
As Biggest Italian Zimbra Integrator, we use it satisfactorily from a while.
Are you asking where to buy Zimbra?
I've tried translate with google but...
Could you please write in english so everybody can read and help you ?
