Wink Yahoo! Browser Plus Discontinued - How to receive popups now?

Yahoo has discontinued Browser Plus, and since it was a requirement for receiving popup notificiations I was wondering if there is any other way to receive popup notifications now?

The only other revelant thread I could find was this, http://www.zimbra.com/forums/adminis...ification.html

However, I have the following options checked and am still not receiving popup notifications on new emails...

Play a sound (requires QuickTime or Windows Media plugin)

    Highlight the Mail tab

    Flash the browser title

Show a popup notification (requires Yahoo! BrowserPlus)

Yahoo does not offer this download anymore and alot of our users do like this feature. It's not critical or even necessary, it's just a nice feature. If anyone has any suggestions on how to enable popup notifications without Yahoo Browser Plus, it would be appreciated.

In ZCS 8 (via enhancement bug 56169) support for desktop notifications for webkit based browsers was added.

    If you have Chrome installed:
    - login to a ZCS 8 server
    - go to Preferences => Mail, and subsection "Receiving Messages"
    - in the "Message Arrival" list be sure that the checkbox for "Show a popup notification" is checked

In addition, you may need/want to check your current settings in Chrome. The relevant help doc for controlling Chrome notifications is currently found at:

Thanks Ppearl! Looks like this is a good workaround for Chrome. IE and Firefox workarounds would be nice as well, although I would assume FireFox has some kind of add-on available, but unsure about IE. Thanks again!
