Default Use Zimbra contacts as CTI source

    Hi,

does there exist a way to use the Contacts datatabase of a Zimbra user (or more) as source for our pbx for reverse name lookup?

    Best regards

Database record of type 6 in mail_item table from mboxgroupXXX are the addressbook records. You can refer Account mailbox database structure - Zimbra :: Wiki
    to find mailbox id.

Sample query to search the contacts would be: (mbox id is 25)

    select * from mboxgroup25.mail_item where type = '6' and mailbox_id = '25';
I am not sure about if this can be used to server your purpose.

    Hi Prashant,

thank you very much, for your answer.
    Unfortunatly there are two problems:
    1. the phone numbers are serialized saved in the metadata field (not searchable by the SQL select)
    example:
    d3:fldd7:company10:CompanyNa5:email21:test12@compa nyna.net9:firstName6:Viktor8:lastName9:Hislastna5: notes53:a very long note (i dont know if the number is still valid)9:workPhone16:+49 5555 1234122e5:mdveri3e1:vi10e3:veri2ee

    2. we save all our phonenumbers canonical, with leading +49 5555 1234122 in front with spaces.
but the phone only gets and searches national numbers like: 055551234122.

so i do not understand to go further from that point.

    best regards
    thomas

You can write custom script to fetch required contact details, modify it into appropriate format you want.
