Default Local server mirroring the remote server

    Good day,

can I use a ZCS as local mail server connected with another remote Zimbra server?

This application is useful for me because the connection often is not available. The users could connect and work with the local server it will sync with the remote server when the connection is available.

    Any suggestion?

    Thank you
    Best regards

    M.

You can do this with subdomains but it's not intuitive and often confusing for users. With more and more applications moving off-premises these days, for our typical client we advise them to have carrier-diverse redundant Internet connections and a firewall/router which can do automatic load balancing or failover between the two circuits.

    Hope that helps,
    Mark
