    Question filters query

    hi all,

    does anybody know where filters are stored for users in zcs 4.5 &
    if a users filter list becomes corrupt is it possible to reset or clear the list?

    They're stored like this:

    Code:
    zmprov ma some@account.domain zimbraMailSieveScript "a\nb\nc"
    If you want to delete one of the filters then you'll need to renter the whole lot with the faulty one removed. Search the forums for some details.

    did a:
    zmprov ma some@account.domain zimbraMailSieveScript ""
    checked with:
    zmprov ga some@account.domain

    zimbraMailSieveScript was blank.

    cleared cache & restarted ff client filters still visible in options is there
    another copy

    As far as I know that's the only place filters are stored. The first command you ran would have cleared the filters, was that your intent?

    If they are still showing in the web ui, did you logout first, clear the cache and then login again?

    It's possible that they're cached on the server, you could try a tomcat restart and see if that clears them. Yes, you can enter the filters directly but you must get the sytax correct. You're better off modifying them in the web ui.
