Do not add your posts to threads that are over five years old and are about a different version and release that yours, I'll move this to it's own thread. This subject has been covered many times in the forums, have you read the posts and tried some of solutions for this problem and if so what have you tried and what were the results? You should also post the messages from the log files not one out-of-context line, you should also give details of which version & release of ZCS you're running by posting the output of the following command (also add this information to your forum profile):

    Code:
    zmcontrol -v

    Hello,

Follow the below steps to resolve your problem :

    1.su - zimbra
    2.zmcontrol stop
    3.zmcontrol status
    4.exit
    5.as root : lsof -i TCP:25

Kill the 25 ports processes by using " kill -9 process id"

    then start the zimbra service.

Then your problem will be resolved.

    Thanks,
    PuRushottam AheR

It's good of you to post your 'fix' but I doubt your solution will be the resolution the above problem.

    Hi aan,

In most cases there's a postfix instance running and taking 25 port.

Yo have to check you running process and make a action.

Most of it, it's about unnistalling the postfix running out of zimbra.

    ccelis.
