This is really a nice shot ccelis , and this is why I've to learn tons about ldapping ;)
Just making some clean up on, by excluding unwanted values
I can obtain same list I desire (for logging purposes) and same result to elaborate too.
ldapsearch -x -D `zmlocalconfig -m nokey -s zimbra_ldap_userdn` -w `zmlocalconfig -m nokey -s zimbra_ldap_password` -h `hostname -f` '(&(mail=*)(zimbraPrefMailTrustedSenderList=*))' mail zimbraPrefMailTrustedSenderList|grep -v ^"#"|grep -v ^"dn:"|grep -v ^"search"|grep -v ^"result"
I'll modify my script to became more effective e resources free and keep you informed.
For the rest, something to talk about concept? Is this a good idea to implement, in your opinion (in shared servers)? Every day hundred phone calls to simple add a sender in whitelist take us lot of time, and this is surely a waste. This is as mentioned a "dirty" solution, but in this way I can relay my work on customer and it feel free to operate as it requires and when it wants.
Ahh well... worked on script following your advice and made it faster (a lot) and easyer to manage.
--> BETA SCRIPT <--
Here above there is fast link to "beta" script now I'm testing on server.
Some tips were added, "Thanks to" added too :)
