    Default Force delivery confirmation

    Hi

I know that the web interface wont have a delivery confirmation feature for a while. But I was wondering if its possible to force it via postfix or some other way?

    Thank you!

If you're technically inclined enough to try to fiddle with the postfix conf wouldn't it just be easy to watch the log file? If its a local user you'll see delivery confirmation - if it's a remote address you'll know that their mail server has accepted it.

Delivery confirmation is problematic. No client actually enforced it, and it's a boon to spammers (confirms good email addresses and hits).

I use it mostly within my own domain *all the time* via IMAP client(s) and our Squirrelmail ( webmail ) client/interface.

It is, however, hit-and-miss for other vendors/clients/businesses servers to actual support it though, I agree.

Still, it's a "have-to-have" feature in my book.

Has this been entered in bugzilla as a feature enhancement request yet?
I'll can add or someone can add if not.
I'd definitely vote on this feature enhancement....
