    Unhappy Changind The hostname of Zimbra

    Hi guys, good afternon

    I need to change the hostname of my Zimbra Server, but I'd like to know What Could happend if changed it. Well I need to change it because i've been had some problems with the sending mails because the public name of mail Server is mail.abcd.com.pe and the hostname of my Zimbra server is mail2.abcd.com.pe

    PLease I'd like to know What could happend if i make this change.

    You should read this post:

    These steps contain:
    - Create new domain in your DNS
    - Use zmhostname to change your hostname in zimbra
    - Run: zmcontrol stop
    - Run: /opt/zimbra/libexec/zmsetservername -force -o old.hostname.com -n new.hostname.com
    - Finish.
    Notice: You should backup your server before doing.
