    Default Change monitored drive?

    Currently Zimbra is monitoring /dev/sda1 for disk space usage...however this is the /boot partition and is very unlikely to change a lot... Is there a way to get it to monitor a different block device or directory in the file system? (/opt is its own partition on the device /dev/mapper/system-opt )

    This is on the Open Source edition if it makes a difference.

    Default

    In case anybody also has this problem and doesn't find it elsewhere in the forums the logger only watches ext3 partitions by default.

    Change the following in /opt/zimbra/libexec/zmdisklog
    Code:
    if ($platform =~ /MACOSX/) {
            $MNTCMD = "mount -t hfs";
            $DFCMD = "df -ml ";
    } else {
            $MNTCMD = "mount -t ext3";
            $DFCMD = "df -mlP ";
    }
    to
    Code:
    if ($platform =~ /MACOSX/) {
            $MNTCMD = "mount -t hfs";
            $DFCMD = "df -ml ";
    } else {
            $MNTCMD = "mount -t ext3,reiserfs"; // Or whatever other filesystem you are using
            $DFCMD = "df -mlP ";
    }
    This will make the logger watch all partitions of the type you specify.
