    Default Some accounts lost after upgrade

    I've just successfully upgraded a large ZCS 7 to 8.0.7. After the upgrade, my account count went down from 726 to 701.
    So far I've located one mailbox that is no longer there, and there are probably more.

    Is there anything I can do to retrieve the lost boxes? I've got a full backup from before the upgrade, but I hope not to have to roll back - just copying the entire /opt/zimbra dir took over 40 hours on a 15k SAS raid10.

    Is there a way to locate a mailbox directly in the system? I can probably go over all of the store, find the .msg files and grep the "To:" field, but that's going to take hours...

    Hi,

    It is really very tedious to restore lost account.

    But you can try following approach if possible:-

    1) Create new test server by using Full backup of ZCS 7.
    2) Take separate (Individual) account backup ( lost 25 accounts).
    3) Then try to import those lost account in ZCS-8.0.7

    Hope its gives an idea !!

    thanks for the advice, this is my last resort. I was hoping not to have to build another 3Tb server, just to run a restore.
    Besides, I currently don't know which accounts were lost.

    The point of this post is to report an issue more than get it fixed.
