Default where is the LDAP logfile?

    Hi all,

I am trying to use the zimbra ldap for authentication and have some issues with this. I'd like to do some trouble shooting but can not find the slapd log. I already set "loglevel = -1" in slapd.conf. But where is the logfile?

    Cheers
    Andre

-1 is no good - read the slapd.conf man page - you probably want 1, or 65535.

    Ldap logs to syslog, /var/log/zimbra.log.

"-1" was exactly what I needed. But what I missed was that the loglevel value is taken from slapd.conf.in every time I restart zimbra.

After I fixed this I had everything in /var/syslog and could fix my auth problem (it's working now)

    Cheers
