    Default Activating Zimbra

Zimbra Mail Server is loaded into a Fedora Linux Core 3 Machine. It was working well for the past few months. Now I am getting an error 'Service.Failure(System Failure getDirectContext) Cause: Javax.naming.CommunicationException localhost.localdomain:389'

I checked whether LDAP is running. It says

    'slapd already running. pid 2799'

What should I do now ?

That depends. Which version of Zimbra/release are you running? I guess this is a rather old release, I'd suggest upgrading your operating system and Zimbra. What happened to cause this problem? Anything else in the logs? What happens if you kill the LDAP process and restart the services or reboot the server? Did you search the forums to see if this problem has been covered before?
