    Default trying to upgrade to 4.5.5

    Hey, trying to ugprade to 4.5.5 and I recieved the following

    What package do I need to install libstdc++.so.6?
    These are the ones I found in RHN

    compat-libstdc++-33 Compatibility standard C++ libraries

    Did you try installing the missing 32bit package?

    i dont know the name of it to throw at up2date, do you?i think it installs the 64bit by default

    How about 'up2date --whatprovides libstdc++.so.6'.

    I get the following

    [root@mail reza]# up2date --whatprovides libstdc++.so.6
    libstdc++-3.4.6-8.i386
    [root@mail reza]# up2date install libstdc++-3.4.6-8.i386

    i've also tried the following as package name
    libstdc++
    libstdc++3
    libstdc++-3.4

    also tried the --arch=i386 option , still didn't work.
    when are we going to get Zimbra on FreeBSD
    =D

    Can't wait till I dont have to pay $350/year to Redhat to run Zimbra NE

    ended up having to use
    up2date -i --arch=i386 libstdc

    Then switch to using Ubuntu the dapper LTS release has a 5 year minimum lifecycle. Good luck getting Redhat to commit to that.

    I don't quite understand the point of that comment? RHEL has a seven year lifetime and a release interval of 12-18 months (for updates).
