Default Incorrect unread email count for folder

In the web client, one of my uses has an unread email count of 1 for their drafts folder.
When the folder is selected, there are no emails in the folder.
Thunderbird shows there are no unread emails in the folder.

I don't know where to start looking for this one.

    Hi Kristian-
    Welcome to the Zimbra Forums!

Have you tried right clicking on the folder and choosing "Mark all as Read"?
You can also search to make sure that the user doesn't have an unread message by searching for "is:unread".

If all else fails, try reloading the webclient and clear the cache.

That was my first instinct, but because the folder is empty, the "Mark all as read" is not available.

Sorry, I should have stated, I've tried all of the above.
The problem persists across reloads and across different browsers (IE, and firefox).
It seems to be an issue on the server or in the interaction between the web client and the server.

    Let's try this
Place a message in the folder, mark it as unread, then right click on the folder, and choose mark all as read.

    tried that also.
it seems that the unread count on the drafts folder displays the number of messages in that folder, not just those that are marked unread.
so the scenario now is with one actual message in the folder, the count shows 2 regardless of the 'read' state of the message.
if i delete the message, the count returns to 1.

The "unread" count on the Drafts folder is the number of messages in the folder, not the number of drafts. If' you've been using an IMAP client to compose drafts, you may run into bug 2712. To fix this, just close your IMAP client.

I don't believe this is an instance of bug2712.
Niether Thunderbird nor the web client show any emails in the drafts folder.
But the webclient does display a count of 1 next to the drafts folder in the folder tree.
