Default Not well formed messages are lost

    Hi,

There's a problem with Zimbra when you receive not well formed messages.

When you have a "javax.mail.internet.ParseException" the message returns to the deferred spool but can never be distribute to user.

I know that mail.jar api is not realy tolerant with those type of messages but there are plenty of mail that are rejected.

    Default Never seen that one...

Really? I've seen lots of malformed spam delivered to my Junk folder, and I hadn't heard of the problem you describe. Can you attach a copy of one of the undelivered messages?

After some more testing it appears that it is a filter that is responsible of the problem. When I remove the filter everything goes fine.

I thought it was mail api bacause I saw his message in logs:

    Default Bug 16525

This is bug 16525. We're looking at it, but it requires a lot of work to circumvent JavaMail's pickiness.
