Since it hasn't been mentioned yet, I thought I would post a link to the news of iPhone 3.0...for example Summary: iPhone 3.0 update to offer 100 new features | Software | Macworld
For Zimbra, I think the big news is that iPhone 3.0 will support CalDAV natively. Assuming that it will work smoothly with Zimbra, I wonder how much more work would need to be done to complete the trifecta of Mail (IMAP), Calendar (CalDAV), and Contacts (??) that are currently synchronized via ActiveSync?
And now that both Notes and To Do are going to be supported (in some fashion) on iPhone, will Zimbra provide a method for synching those as well?
(I don't expect answers soon, of course, but I'm looking forward to developments.)
Just stumbled across this: LDAP is also coming in iPhone 3.0, apparently: CalDAV and LDAP coming to iPhone - Robert Chien's Blog
