Default java.lang.NullPointerException when accepting invite in iCal

    Hi,

I have a user that when accepting a meeting invite in iCal (snow Leopard, latest patch level) gets a 500 (see screenshot). I think I've found the corresponding stacktrace in the mailbox log:

I am having the exact same problem, but only with one account. This happened after I upgraded.

One thing I noticed is that, with the broken account, on the first iCal login the tasks-calendar icons at the left iCal column appear "reversed", tasks above calendar.

I've tried deleting the account and re-creating it with no luck. Any ideas?

Is there any possibility to downgrade to version 6? We can't use Zimbra with this limitation for long.

No there isn't, it's not possible to 'downgrade' a Zimbra installation. Have you searched bugzilla to see if there's any bug reports filed against this issue, if there isn't then you need to file one.
    Regards

    Hi Bill,

now I did enter a bug report. Let's see how long this will take. Everything was running fine until we updated to v. 7. Now I have some problems justifying the upgrade.

    Here is the bug entry:
Bug 64412 – Java.lang.nullpointer exception by accepting an iCal invite

Seems to be fixed in 7.1.3, but anyone that knows when 7.1.3 will be released?

Yes, I upgrade a while ago, haven't had this complaint again, since then. Let's rejoice and hope I didn't jinx it!
