Default Shared Addressbook/Calender won't work in iCal

    Hi there,

I tried a lot to get shared addressbooks and shared calendars working, but no way. I wonder if this is implemented?

The only way to get an event from a shared calendar to iCal is to get invited and accept the invitation. Thats logical because the event is then copied to the users own calendar.

Are there any news on this topic? I think sharing calendars and syncing to iCal are essential functions in a groupware solution that is also aiming at Mac users.

Not in iCal. It doesn't exist.

There is Apple iCal Server, but it isn't really iCal. It's CalDAV, which is what you really want.

We're VERY much working on this.

Just look at all of the activity. No target yet, but I think we're trying for 5.0 (don't quote me on that, because pmweb says it's not
