Default What's up with forum notification delays ?

I am receiving forum update notification emails for subscribed threads 2,3,4 or more days after the posting on the forum. This is not really what we want to see from our email server provider. Doesn't give the right impression. What is going on with them ?

I've reported this to the folks who maintain the forums. I haven't heard any update yet on getting it fixed.
