Question Where is the Indexing API document?

I will integrate the zimbra to some search engine.
I hear that the Indexing API of Zibmra is open.
But I could not find any documentation for it.

    My question are two point.
First, is the Indexing API fixed and supported?
Second, where can i find a complete documentation for the Indexing API.

    Thanks.

You can hook into indexing for keywords via Zimlets server indexing. This will let you tie a keyword to a regex or the match of a Java method call.

The java method is very simple:
