    Question attribute question

    Hi:

    I am trying to send in a CreateAccountRequest SOAP call to Zimbra API. If I just send in <name> and <password> elements. Zimbra create new account successfully. But when I try to add custom attributes to the xml, Zimbra returns http 500.

    Here is the XML I am using :

    <soap:Envelope xmlns:soap="http://www.w3.org/2003/05/soap-envelope">
    <soap:Header>
    <context xmlns="urn:zimbra">
    <authToken>ValidToken</authToken>
    </context>
    </soap:Header>
    <soap:Body>
    <CreateAccountRequest xmlns="urn:zimbraAdmin">
    <name>name@domain</name>
    <password>myverystrongpassword</password>
    <a n="firstname">test</a>
    <a n="lastname">test</a>
    </CreateAccountRequest>
    </soap:Body>
    </soap:Envelope>

    Any suggestions would be most welcome.

    Thanks.

    Default

    You need to use valid LDAP attr names. The list is in the zimbraAccount object class. You can find it here.

    http://cvs.zimbra.com:8080/viewrep/z....schema?r=MAIN

    For the two you tried it should be gn (Givename) and sn (Sur Name)
