    Default Shared Tasks

We utilize the sharing of tasks feature as a sort of "project management". A master Task list is created (the project) and the needed tasks within that project are assigned.

Limitations we would like to see addressed.

When the "project" is shared the other users of the project cannot place any "tags" on the project. This would be useful as we would like to have each user have a different tag so we can "assign" the task to a user.

When you are in task view you can only view one task list (project) at a time. It would be nice to have a checkbox for each task list so you can view multiple at a time. Just like the way shared calenders work. When you have multiple selected that will appear in a task list-list (if you will), with a drop down arrow to the left that allows you to minimize or maximize your task list (project) and see all the task contained therein.

Maybe this could be entirely new tab in the Zimbra UI. Perhaps called Projects? :-)

Anyone have any input. I would LOVE to see this functionality.

Bug 35133 - Show all tasks from multiple checked folders

I see Bug 11124 - tagging shared contacts (for using your own tags) you could open one for tasks or we could just expand it to all apps.
The other side of the equation is Bug 5210 - shared tags between users

    Default

This is a show-stopper for us. A user may be involved in 4 different ongoing projects with a total of 15 distinct task lists. Scheduled tasks do not even show in their calendar.

Is there no way to obtain a "dashboard" sort of view (a la Central Desktop, if anyone is familiar) of all tasks & events associated with one user? It just would not work for us to try to stay on top of our work load and to collaborate if an individual cannot see what he or she is scheduled to do, the Big Picture, across all task lists and calendars.

Also, is there a way to associate a task with a particular event? Or, better yet, a whole task list?

Is there anything akin to Projects? Milestones?

    thank you!

    Default Tasks

We would also like to see a way to include pictures (jpg) in the body of the task similar to how email works (html version). We put screen shots in our tasks to help clarify the task.
