Default how to make zimlet change into effictive quickly?

    HI,

Everythime I modify the zimlet, I have to restart the zimbra server like ./zmcontrol stop/start. it takes a couple/few mins, is there a quicker way to do that?

    Thanks!

    You can restart only mailboxd

    zmmailboxd restart

If you need to restart for development purposes you can use the _dev folder as described in ZimletDevSetup - Zimbra :: Wiki

Or depending on your Zimlet you could use Zimbra Desktop and the _dev folder. Works great for me.

Also noteworthy... you can add an ?dev=1 at the end of your url so that every time you reload Zimbra doesn't use the "cached" files.
