Question [zd] how to recompile a file after customize a source code file ?

hi !

i lightly customized a source file in zimbra desktop which is :

\jetty\webapps\zimbra\WEB-INF\tags\miniTagImage.tag
when i disconnected and unlog my account and run again Zdesktop, my modification is not active. (i just changed a name of image file tag for many tags).

so i guess the source code needs to be compiled ? how can i do that ?

i am under windows xp 32bits, shall you help me please ?

Default

The JSP tags are used in the Zimbra Web Client HTML version (i.e. sometimes referred to as the "Standard" version). Zimbra Desktop uses the Advanced "Ajax" client.

So that might be why your change is not getting picked-up.

What change to the image are you trying to make and maybe I can help point you in the right direction?

Default hi

hi !

thanks for your reply !

i wish to display all tags in event calendar and not just a 'multitag one' icone !.
I asume there will not be more than the space allowed, so 4 or 5 , not more.

i discover the concerned code line where it happens, so in the file \jetty\webapps\zimbra\WEB-INF\tags\miniTagImage.tag

there :

Code:
<c:if test="${fn:length(tags) eq 0}"> </c:if>
<c:if test="${fn:length(tags) eq 1}"><app:img src="${tags[0].miniImage}" alt="${fn:escapeXml(tagNames)}" rawtitle="true" title="${fn:escapeXml(tagNames)}"/></c:if>
<c:if test="${fn:length(tags) gt 1}"><app:img src="startup/ImgTagStack.gif" alt="${fn:escapeXml(tagNames)}" rawtitle="true" title="${fn:escapeXml(tagNames)}"/></c:if>

you said that in ajax , this file is not used, so where are the files that ajax use for the desktop ?

best regards
