Default Authenticating to WebDAV, Pre-auth possible?

Hi All, just moved this from the administration forums in hope of any reply here.

I have pre-auth and WebDAV both working on my system. For programmatic access to the WebDAV repository, is it possible to utilize my generated authentication key that I receive during the pre-auth step in some way while connecting to WebDAV?

If it matters at all I am using Sardine to connect to the repository. I can use another library if needed but it needs to be java based.

    Thanks for any thoughts.

I'm guessing that this is not possible, but putting it back up in hopes someone else will see it.

Is there any other way to either access the username & password or authenticate in some other manner?
