    Default Is is possible to use wild cards like * in GetDomainRequest

    Is is possible to use wild cards like * in GetDomainRequest if I want to find domains which start with 'a'?

    <GetDomainRequest>
    <domain by="name">a*</domain>
    </GetDomainRequest>

    Thanks

    Default I don't believe so

    I don't think it supports wildcards, though I could be wrong.

    Why not try it and see, and then report back here for posterity?

    Default

    GetDomainRequest doesn't support wildcards.

    You'd want something like (IIRC):

    <SearchDirectoryRequest types="domain" >
    <query>(zimbraDomainName=a*)</query>
    </SearchDirectoryRequest>

    If you are paging through all domains, you can just use a "*" for the query and add limit="..." offset="..." to the SearchDirectoryRequest element. This should all be in soap-admin.txt.
