Default [memory the deletion of an attachment]

After all, sorry for my english,

I want to install zimbra in my company but there is a problem with deletation of an attachement :

Zimbra does not allow to keep in memory the deletion of an attachment (fonction available in other softwares like Thunderbird, Lotus, etc..)
This indication seems important to me in order to keep the complete history of the e-mail. It will be useful in order to let the user know that there was initially an attachment with the email, and that it has been deleted afterwards.

This function will be useful for companies which want to totally virtualize the processing of the emails, but need to keep trace of them during some years, with the history of attachment management.

Is it possible to developp it ?

    Thanks for your attention.

    Hi,

In the last version of Zimbra it was like this. After deleting a message, there was an place holder to indicate that an email was deleted. I myself are missing this in the new Version 8.
