Default Run own PHP scripts on the server

I don't know if this question has to do with Zimbra, but I ask it anyway:

How can i get my own PHP scripts running on the server? I want to use this on my Zimbra server but i am new to linux and don't know where to put this.

    Can anyone help me?

You'd need to install your own apache with PHP.

nope, zimbra uses JSP [Java Server Pages] for the GUI via the Apache-Tomcat/Jakarta web server. You will have to, as KevinH suggested, install apache.

Our spell check module uses PHP and Apache. If you install the spell server, Apache and PHP get installed automatically.

    Default document root

The document root, as configured in /opt/zimbra/conf/httpd.conf, is in /opt/zimbra/httpd-2.0.54/htdocs

Sorry, if this question is very dumb:

I put the PHP files to /opt/zimbra/httpd-2.0.54/htdocs/pshaw but if I go to https://my.server.foo/pshaw there is

    Code:
    TTP Status 404 - /pshaw

    type Status report

    message /pshaw

description The requested resource (/pshaw) is not available.
    Apache Tomcat/5.5.7

    Default port

The apache server isn't listening on port 443, it's listening on port 7780 - and it's not an https server, just http.

Is it safe to install another instance of Apache (in the default location for Fedora Core 3 using the add/remove app) that listens on port 80 if all I'm running Zimbra on right now is https (and the above port 7780 for spellchecking)?

I would also like to run some PHP-based apps on my Zimbra server and just wanted to check here before I tried it and hosed my mail server.
