Remember this is free software that you're using and people give their time freely to support it, please don't demand immediate supoort or response to questions. Do some research and read the forums and documentation that you'll see on SVN.

There is also a build of Zimbra for FC4, if it's urgent use that.

[edit]BTW, I moved this to the developers forum not tagged onto the end of another thread.

What I don't understand is why you want to build it from source when there's a build for FC4 here or haven't you seen that? Just download that and install it. If that's what you want I'll move this thread out of the developers forum.

Please make sure you read the Quick Start Guide and other documentation from here.

The build cvs in the SVN works, and the code roughly corresponds to the latest released version. What changes do you want to make? You may not need a source distribution?

I will be honest and say that building the tree the first time (as with any large project) can be a monumental task at times.

The tree is available at zimbra.svn.sourceforge.net

only trouble is the svn hasn't been updated for over 2 months, so developing against it isn't much use unless you're willing to merge changes if it reopens again in the future. the most up to date source is the last tarball dropped with 4.5.5 release:
    SourceForge.net: Files

great job on the encryption services! look forward to trying it
