Ok no. this "maintenance mode" thing is bit more persistent than I thought. The only exception that shows up in the current zdesktop.log file over and over is "com.zimbra.cs.mailbox.MailServiceException: mailbox in maintenance mode: 8"

That probably makes the log file less interesting.

The zdesktop.log.2008-10-08 file has better stuff though, with things like "java.sql.SQLException: The statement was aborted because it would have caused a duplicate key value in a unique or primary key constraint or unique index identified by 'SQL080925094415200' defined on 'IMAP_MESSAGE'.", so I'll attach that one too.

Let me know if I can do anything else to help pinpoint this thing.

Not sure, I downloaded it by going straight to Zimbra on your Desktop and clicking the windows download.

    Actually, .install4j/installation.log mentions this:
    [INFO] com.install4j.runtime.installer.InstallerContextIm pl: Variable changed: prevVersion=0.90[class java.lang.String]
    [INFO] com.install4j.runtime.installer.InstallerContextIm pl: Variable changed: prevBuild=1278[class java.lang.String]
    [INFO] com.install4j.runtime.installer.InstallerContextIm pl: Variable changed: needToUninstall=true[class java.lang.Boolean]
So yes, most likely my previous install was 1278.

I'm seeing the same exact problem after upgrading to build 1338. I got a bunch of "Error Reports" messages in my Outbox stating that syncing had been disabled for all my folders because of this error. I'm going to try an uninstall and data wipe and then upgrade to build 1344 and sync all.

Here's one of the error messages.

    Product name: Zimbra Desktop
    Product version: 0.91
    Build ID: 1338
    Release type: BETA
OS Platform: Windows XP x86 5.1
    Time of event: 2008-11-02 01:00:44
Error type: UID STORE failed: UID STORE error; can't store that data
Error summary: Synchronization of folder '/Temp' failed. Synchronization has been disabled for this folder

After I wiped everything (including settings and data) and reinstalled I haven't seen the problem again.

I deleted the Zimbra folder, which deleted all the old saved data.
