I set up Zimbra open source edition (5.0.13) on Ubuntu LAMP, and got it running just fine.
Even the Funambol sync works perfectly with my WM6 device
After using the wonderfull Zimbra webinterface for some days, I decide to try the Zimbra Desktop version (win32 v1.0 build 1482).
Installation went fine, and after loading it displays all my folders (Inbox with subfolders, Contacts and Calendar).
The sync status icon is green, so all is well according to Zimbra Desktop.
However, my main Inbox (and the subfolders) are all empty.
Contacts and Calendar contents are fine.
I also have another shared mail folder (other user), which displays the emails in there also just fine.
When looking at the zdesktop.log I see some strange messages telling me that all emails from my inbox folders are deleted and therefor skipped?
2009-02-28 16:36:54,924 DEBUG [mid=2] offline - initial: created folder (id=681 type=folder): Shop \ Zakelijk
2009-02-28 16:36:54,971 INFO [mid=2] offline - initial: messages have been deleted; skipping
See attached full log.
The previous Desktop version build 1433 also shows this error.
When I create a mail in Zimbra Desktop, and send it, the 'Sent Items' box is empty. When viewing it in the web version, the Sent Items folder does show the just sent email.
I tried reindexing, deleting, removing and reinstalling, but no luck.
Also setting up another account shows the same results.
Is this a Zimbra Desktop bug or should I alter a settings on the server?
