Same problem different result
First time posting here so greetings :)
I too have had the same error message though I notice I can still send and receive mail despite this - odd?
I have also setup to send / receive my Gmail from Google also without problem.
As a side note to all those out there giving the Zimbra team flak for there being a problem with the program. Be that as it may - maybe folk out there ought to remember they are getting something for free and to be appreciative. I, for one, am grateful for to have such a good and useful program for free. So next time bear this in mind when venting your frustrations at the Zimbra team?

Don't reset Yahoo account in Zimbra
I wouldn't recommend resetting your Yahoo account right now. The Yahoo Address Book sync problem affects all Zimbra versions. It has to do with a change that Yahoo made, not Zimbra. If you reset the Yahoo account you will no longer have any Yahoo address book entries. You probably are not seeing the sync error on the one copy of Zimbra because it synced successfully before this problem and you have not changed any entries in your Yahoo address book since then. So, it doesn't need to sync anything and is not getting an error. Just leave your Yahoo account alone until a new Zimbra Desktop version is released that uses the new Yahoo API that fixes this issue. Unfortunately, I don't see them fixing this in older versions of Zimbra Desktop. So, when they release the next update any Yahoo users will need to upgrade to that version if they want the Yahoo address book.
Also, for Zimbra employees watching this thread: This has been an issue for over a month. What's the status? I know there's a bug report for this and the new API functionality is being developed, but we need it released in production as soon as you can.
