Default [NOT SOLVED] Stupid question: marking a post as [SOLVED]

Tried Googling for this, but it didn't turn up much besides a horde of solved posts...

What's the proper way to mark one of your threads as [SOLVED]? I tried editing the title of the original post, but all it did was change that post's title -- it didn't apply it to the entire thread.

At least, that's how I thought you were supposed to change thread titles on vBulletin. Am I mistaken?

Good question! I can no longer find the option. Maybe it was one of those links lost during the last forum software upgrade.

so if it's [SOLVED], what's the solution?

I've been looking for the last 20 minutes. I see no way to mark a thread as solved on my own threads.

    That's just the sub-title, apparently.

With most vBulletin boards I've been on, simply editing your original post and changing the subject actually changes the title of the thread. On this one, and this one only that I've seen, editing the subject of the original post only changes the title of that post, and not the whole thread.

So no, it's not solved, still just a mystery.
