    Default Yahoo folder won't sync.

    Hi, Im new to the ZDesktop, I've been using Yahoo Mail Plus for years (always the web interface). I've got a few pop mail accounts that Yahoo checks and then those messages get put in folders that I set up on Yahoo. With Zimbra, I go to the folder (they show up), they are empty and then I click "click here to sync this folder". Sometimes that works, sometimes it doesn't and it just says no results found. Is there a way to try and get to resync? When it fails I no longer get the "click here to sync" message. How can I get it to try again?

    Hi, once you click the "click here to sync this folder" link, the folder sync will be turned on so if there are any messages in that folder they will show up. Not sure why they don't show up. Do you see the green light indicator after sync (upper left corner)? If you see a red indicator then there are errors.

    Okay, I restarted the app and now an error is showing... What does it mean? Thanks for your help.

    OK in order to know what caused it we'll need to see the IMAP trace. You can enable IMAP trace by setting javamail_imap_debug to true in <install>/conf/localconfig.xml and then restart zdesktop background server (see wiki if you don't know how to do that). The IMAP trace will then go into <install>/log/zdesktop.out. Thanks!

    So I looked through the error log and found this invalid response to UID FETCH:

    * 341 FETCH (INTERNALDATE "" UID 495892 BODY[] {7705} ...)

    Clearly it is wrong for the server to send an empty internal date, so this is causing fetch to fail for that particular message. Could you please tell us with which server you are trying to use zdesktop?

    Thanks,
    David

    This was due to Yahoo's IMAP server returning an empty INTERNALDATE response for some messages. We have reported this to Yahoo and will also implement a workaround in the next ZDesktop version so that we just skip over the invalid responses.
