    Default Any faster way...?

Zimbra Desktop uses modern Web 2.0 AJAX technology and is designed to handle several email accounts with multi-gigabyte storage.
But it doesn't mention that you HAVE to download the ENTIRE mailbox size into the Zimbra Desktop before it can be 100% functioning! If your mail box is like 4GB, it'll take some time! LOL

Is there any way to do this faster?

what do you mean by "100% functioning"? you should be able to most things while initial sync is underway.

is this a concern about size on local computer?

    Sorry for the confusion.

    Yes, Zimbra is 100% working/functioning...

BUT no personal info, contacts, email, calendar are present until the download is complete. If the mail box size is into the gigs, this wil take a long while even with a DSL connection.

I was asking if there was a quicker way... to drag/drop perhaps the mail box into the zimbra desktop? Or even have a separate download mail box utility to speed up the process, cause the zimbra desktop client even downloads slow?
