Exclamation Prompt for password while opening the Zimbra desktop

Zimbra desktop does not prompt for either account password for each account nor does have a provision for assigning a password to open the desktop client. This means that anybody who has access to the PC can read any mails on the desktop client. How do I ensure that passwords are assigned to Zimbra desktop client and/or individual accounts ?

this is a desktop mail program. if somebody has access to your personal computer they can do anything they want. or you can lock your sceen with password protection.

I am not satisfied with this answer that its a desktop mail program...
Owning a personal computer does not mean that it cannot be shared by people from the same family / room mates.
    Password protection are basics...
Such good work done by team Zimbra will become useless if the basics are missing...

Looking forward for a patch in the next release...
    Thanks in Advance

I agree. I never cache my passwords and encourage all our users to do the same. If I walk away from my desk and forget to lock my computer, I don't want someone able to simply click on my email and open it. I did not see any way to delete the password. If I blanked it in the setup, it insisted on my entering it.

Virtually every other mail client I have used (KMail, Evolution) have allowed me to enter the password when I open my mail. I would like to see the same for ZDC. Thanks - John
