Im sorry how do you make Zimbra Desktop your default mail client? Am I missing something? When I click a mail to: link it just says the mail client was installed wrong/ then I get a pop up saying "unauthorized access".

If it's on Windows, can you try this:

    1) quit YZD
    2) run Outlook Express (or other mail client you have on Windows) and make that
    default mail application.
    3) quit Outlook Express, run YZD. Set YZD the default mail application.
    4) restart YZD

Sorry yes on Windows Vista SP1
Tried your directions and no luck. Still says the same thing "Unauthorized Access". Maybe I should try uninstalling and then reinstalling the program?

this was indeed a bug in build 1482. the latest rc2 (1513) has the fix.
