    Welcome to the forums

Not really sure what you are asking ? Do you have your own domain name, or do you wish to use a free account ?

You can use zdesktop with either ZCS or Yahoo Mail, or both, but those two services are independent so you don't need a yahoo id to use zdesktop with ZCS.
